Circuit Service

"Come on and Celebrate" - and Celebrate we did!

The Circuit gathered together as one on Sunday 31st May at St Andrew's Methodist Church to celebrate. We celebrated the anniversaries around the Circuit, the wonder of the Trinity and our hopes for our future.

We were led by the Co-Chair of the West Midlands Methodist District, Rev. Dr. Rachel Deigh, with members of the Circuit Team and stewards from the churches taking part as well.

We wove together strips of ribbon and were invited to consider each strip as: "Past, Present and Future", "Father Son and Spirit" or "The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit".

The Leyfields estate, where St Andrew's is situated, was filled with harmonious singing of popular hymns and upbeat songs - including an action song.

Prior to the service yesterday, Churches had been invited to write messages of Hope on bunting, that were brought together and hung on the tress outside St Andrew's during the service - a colourful display waving in the breeze.

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the space prior to yesterday, who took part on the day, who were involved in the logistics of music and sound, for all the circuit for coming out to celebrate together, and for Rev. Dr. Rachel Deigh who stepped in at the last minute to lead us.
